Inflow into Srisailam reservoir declines

KURNOOL, AUG. 21. The flow into Srisailam reservoir declined on Saturday with a steep fall water level in the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers.

Inflow was calculated at 98,000 cusecs as against the outflow of 1,06,275 cusecs, which includes 10,000 cusecs into Srisailam Right Main Canal. The level in reservoir stood at 883.10 ft. The discharge from Jurala was 76,760 cusecs and in Tungabhadra river at Kurnool it was 21,200 cusecs.
