The maximum and minimum temperature recorded at Safdarjung on Saturday was 33.1 and 23.8 degree Celsius, while Palam recorded a maximum of 32.4 and a minimum of 25.2 degree Celsius. Rainfall in trace was recorded at both the places. The maximum and minimum humidity recorded at Safdarjung was 93 per cent and 61 per cent respectively, while at Palam it was 93 per cent and 65 per cent respectively.
Bid to murder

Robber shot
According to a Northern Railway spokesperson, a RPF team was patrolling the tracks near Shakur Basti Basala-Rampura gate on Friday night. Around midnight, a group of men appeared on the scene. On being confronted by the RPF team, the suspects began grappling with them. One of them tried to snatch the service rifle of a head constable. Constable Chand then pulled out his weapon and shot at the man who fell into a "nullah''. He was declared dead in hospital.
