CHENNAI, AUG. 21. About 100 non-teaching staff who have been serving their institutions for more than seven years will be honoured tomorrow by SMILE, a non-governmental service organisation. The organisation will observe August 22 as voluntary service day and donate clothes to orphanages including old age homes and 50 hearing and speech impaired students. About 200 visually impaired people will receive walking sticks and audiocassettes. There will also be audio-visual presentations by Cancer Institute, Banyan, Rotary Club, Blue Cross and Citizen for Safe Roads at Kamaraj memorial hall.
