ADILABAD, AUG. 22. As many as 536 children below 12 years were screened for heart ailments at the district headquarters hospital here on Sunday. Five specialist doctors from Hyderabad and local doctors identified 265 clear cases of cardiac ailments. The District Medical and Health Officer, M. Kesava Rao, and the hospital Superintendent, D.N. Swamy, told reporters that the children who were identified as ailing with heart problems were categorised into three segments for treatment. All the children identified with diseases were given referral cards, they said.
