BANGALORE, AUG. 22. The Frazer Town police arrested Syed Akbar (42), an autorickshaw driver of Kadagondanahalli, on charges of stealing a wristwatch from a passenger. They recovered the watch worth Rs. 3,500 from him. The accused, the police said, had stolen the watch on Friday. The passenger had boarded his vehicle at Arabic College to go to J.C. Nagar.
14 arrested
The City Crime Branch team on Saturday arrested 14 persons, including 12 women, allegedly involved in immoral trafficking from a house in Sultanpalya.
