Workshop on garment industry

COIMBATORE: The Textiles and Garments Exporters' Association, Erode, and the Textiles Committee will jointly organise a workshop on "how to start garment industry and productivity improvement" on August 30 at Erode. A release from the association said that the objectives of the programme were to encourage new entrepreneurs to enter export business, to encourage new investments in value-added products such as garments and home textiles and to provide to the industry all the required information on garments and productivity.
