Straw in Sudan

LONDON, AUG. 23. The British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, has rushed to Sudan to press the Sudanese Government to do more to end the continuing violence in the Darfur.

Mr. Straw's brief is to `remind' his hosts of their assurances to the international community and impress upon them the urgency of the situation.
