NEW DELHI, AUG. 23. An Indian passenger, who had left his purse -- containing Rs 27,000 worth of Indian and foreign currency -- in the transit lounge of the International Terminal of the Indira Gandhi International Airport was lucky enough to get it back since it was spotted by Central Industrial Security Force personnel on duty there who honestly reported its discovery to his superiors. It was on August 21, that Head Constable Inderjeet Singh found the purse in a chair in the transit lounge which contained $600 and Rs 1,700 in Indian currency. He informed his superiors and immediately announcements were made over the public address system, hearing which a passenger of flight TK-1071, Ram Narayan Thakur, came forward to claim it.
