Shot dead

COLOMBO, AUG 23 . Suspected Tiger rebels shot dead a military informer here today, police said. The man, identified as Kuhanathan, was killed at the Wellawatta area.

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam had been accused of carrying out a similar killing here on July 31.
