PATHANAMTHITTA, AUG 24. The dispute in the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam over the Guruvarsham-150 celebrations has come out in the open with the Yogam president. C.K. Vidyasagar, urging the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, to reconsider her decision to inaugurate the programme. In a letter to Ms. Gandhi, Mr. Vidyasagar has said that the decision to keep the Yogam president away from presiding over the function who is entitled to do so has evoked protests from the 10-million strong Ezhava community. There is resentment in the community over the decision of the Congress leadership to abet the group activities of an unruly secretary.
