Pergo India's plans

HYDERABAD: Pergo India, the Indian arm of the Swedish multinational, has targeted sales of Rs. 22 crores or 26 lakh sq ft of laminate flooring in India this year, against 20 lakh sq ft sold last year, according to K. R. Shivshankar, Chief Executive Officer. The company, which has two design centres at Delhi and Mumbai, is opening the third one here on August 25. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Shivshankar said the design centres enabled customers to login to the `Pergo e-showroom' and try out combinations of wooden laminate flooring designs and shades in various parts of a house.
