HYDERABAD, AUG. 24. The South Central Railway (SCR) will run special trains between Gulbarga and Raichur for the benefit of pilgrims attending the Krishna Pushkarams from August 28 to September 8. It has already announced 360 special trains to be run for the Pushkarams. The Gulbarga-Raichur special train will depart from Gulbarga at 9.30 a.m., arrive at Raichur at 1.15 p.m. In the returm direction, it will leave Raichur at 1.45 p.m. and arrive at Gulbarga at 5.30 p.m. En route, these special trains will halt at Wadi, Nalwar, Shampurhalli, Thangundi, Yadgir, Lingiri, Narayanapet Road, Chegunta, Krishna Chiksugar and Yeramaras in both directions.
Additional coaches
The Narsapur-Guntur passengers, Guntur-Macherla-Bhimavaram passengers, Guntur-Macherla passengers, Guntur-Vijayawada passengers, Tenali-Donakonda-Guntur passengers, Guntur-Gudivada passengers and Bhimavaram-Guntur-Narsapur passengers will be augmented by ten coaches each. The Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam passengers, Vijayawada-Gudur passengers, Vijayawada-Bhadrachalam passengers, Vijayawada-Ongole passengers, Tirupati-Ongole passengers, Vijayawada-Bitragunta/Gudur-Vijayawada passengers, Bitragunta-Chennai-Gudur passengers, Vijayawada-Dornakal Junction passengers will be augmented by an additional nine coaches each. The Tirupati-Howrah Express will be augmented by an additional six coaches. The Vijayawada-Kakinada Port passengers, Secunderabad-Kurnool Town Tungabhadra Express will be augmented by additional five coaches each. The Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Tirumala Express, Kakinada Town-Bangalore Seshadri Express, Vijayawada-Raigir passengers, Narsapur-Nidadavolu-Bhimavaram passengers, Bhimavaram-Rajahmundry-Narsapur passengers, Rajahmundry-Eluru passengers, Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam passengers will be augmented by additional four coaches each. The Visakhapatnam-Bangalore Express and Visakhapatnam-Kazipet Express will be augmented by additional three coaches each. The Hyderabad-Tirupati Krishna express, Hyderabad-Bijapur passengers, Bijapur-Raichur passengers, Nanded-Guntakal Hampi Link Express and Kakinada Port-Chennai Express will be augmented by additional two coaches each.
