BANGALORE, AUG. 24. The State police have made elaborate security arrangements to prevent any breach of law and order arising out of the arrival and arrest of the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti, against whom a warrant has been issued by a court in Hubli. Ms. Bharti will surrender before the court and is scheduled to arrive at the Hubli Railway Station on early Wednesday morning, as per the original schedule. Railway sources said the train was running around four hours behind schedule and the delay was largely because of the public receptions being accorded to Ms. Bharti at several railway stations. Nearly 100 platoons of the reserve police have been mobilised across the State and the focus of the security arrangements is largely on the districts of Dharwad and Belgaum and Bangalore city.
