BHOPAL, AUG. 24. The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Uma Bharti, who relinquished office on Monday evening in the wake of a non-bailable arrest warrant issued against her by a court in Hubli, Karnataka, left here today by train for Hubli. Hundreds of BJP workers were at the railway station when Ms. Bharti arrived around 2 a.m. to board the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Goa Express. While the former Union Minister, Prahlad Patel, accompanied Ms. Bharti, the new Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Babulal Gaur, the State BJP president, Kailash Joshi, and others were present.
