CHENNAI, AUG. 24. Counselling for admission to MBA and MCA in government, aided and self-financing engineering colleges will be held at the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, from August 26 to 31. According to a release issued by the Director of Technical Education, counselling for the physically handicapped in the MCA stream will be held at 10 a.m. on August 26 and in the MBA stream at 10 a.m. on August 30. For MCA candidates with cut-off marks between 42.667 and 33.333, counselling will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 26; for those with cut-off marks between 29.000 and 19.333, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on August 27; for candidates with cut off marks between 16.333 and 9.333, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and for the remaining, from 4 p.m. on August 28. For MBA candidates with cut-off marks between 24.000 and 11.000, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 30; for candidates with cut-off marks between 8.500 and 2.000, from 9 to 11a.m.; and for the remaining, from 2 p.m. on August 31. Individual communication is being sent. Candidates who have applied and secured the specified marks can appear for counselling, bringing with them original certificates even if they have not received the communication.
