Performance allowance

KOCHI, AUG. 24. The Government has declared 8.33 per cent performance allowance and Rs. 400 as ex gratia allowance for employees of Kerala Books and Publications Society, Trikkakkara. This is in view of the society putting up a much better performance as compared to previous years.

Registrar selection

A Syndicate meeting of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) here today decided to include the names of the Controller of Examinations, A. Ramachandran, and Keshav Mohan of IHRD Engineering College, Adoor, in the panel for the selection of the Registrar.

Residents' association

K. Babu, MLA, today inaugurated the Junior Janatha Road Residents' Association. The association president, K.A. Cherian, presided over the meeting.
