THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 24. The Federation of All Kerala University Employees' Organisations has expressed strong protest against the decision of the Vice-Chancellor of the Calicut University terminating the services of K. Kunhikrishnan, director of the School of Distance Education (SDE) of the university. At an executive committee meeting of the federation held here today, it was observed that the Vice-Chancellor's decision was grossly unjust and the reasons cited for it baseless.
`Withdraw decision'
The meeting demanded that the decision be withdrawn forthwith and Prof. Kunhikrishnan reinstated. The federation appealed to the Chancellor to intervene in the matter to ensure that Prof. Kunhikrishnan was not denied justice.
