Two golds for Karnataka

CHENNAI, AUG. 25. Karnataka claimed two gold medals in the All-India BSNL powerlifting championship at the ICF premises on Wednesday.

The results (winners only): 82.5 kg: Narasimha Devadiga (Kar, 530 kg); 90 kg: K. Prabhakaran (Ker, 600 kg); 100 kg: G. Rajappa (Kar, 615).
