Five-wkt. win for Khalsa

HYDERABAD, AUG. 26. Khalsa CC scored a five-wicket win over Telengana CA in the `A' Division two-day matches cricket league championship for the R. Jaywanth Rao Trophy here on Thursday.

The scores: A Division: Telengana CA 182 (Naveen 38, Venu 53, Chaitanya four for 57, Manish Rathore three for 27) lost to Khalsa CC 183 for five (V. Shiva Goud 52, Rupesh Nayak 38 not out, Achuta 51 not out).

A Division (three-day): South Central Railway Sports Association 212 (M. Suresh 54, Khaja Obaidullah 81 not out, Fahad five for 76, Masiullah Khan three for 38) vs Ensconse 71 for one (Ibrahim Khaleel 42 not out).

A Division (one-day): Tarun Sangh CC 184 (Shobhan Babu 48, Ramesh 41, Naveen five for 15) lost to Venus Cybertech 185 for two (G. Narsing Rao 78 not out, K. Arvind Kamble 52, Md. Munawar Hussain 31 not out).

B Division league: Parishrama Bavan CC 146 (Praveen 42, Jaga three for 26, Yousuf four for nine) lost to RBI 149 for seven (Afroze 51, Vinay four for 46).
