Hectic schedule awaits YSR

VIJAYAWADA, AUG.26. The Chief Minister, Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, will inaugurate several infrastructural facilities developed by the Central and State Government agencies on the first day of the Krishna Pushkarams. The Chief Minister will arrive here by helicopter at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday and proceed directly to the VIP bathing ghat near Punnami Hotel. He will take a holy dip at the ghat and launch the "annadanam" programme at the bathing ghat.

The programme

The Chief Minister will then inaugurate the air-conditioned river cruise "Bodhisiri" built by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. He will travel in the newly inaugurated luxury cruise to Bhavani Island and inaugurate new cottages, conference facilities and food plazas that have been developed by the Tourism Corporation.

After lunch, the Chief Minister will inaugurate new ticket booking counter and entrance to the Vijayawada Railway Station constructed at the end of platform number one and the rail-overbridge. He will then inaugurate the recently renovated Victoria Museum.
