Cold storage at Palangarai

COIMBATORE: The Tirupur-based Abirami Cold Storages Private Limited will open a cold storage facility at Palangarai on August 29. A release from the company said the Rs. 98.70-lakh project had multi-chamber storage facility. Fruits, flowers, spices and vegetables can be preserved and the targeted beneficiaries are vegetable, fruit and spice growers. The exclusive chambers would be programmed to the precise required temperature. It had a strict temperature control with microprocessor mechanism to monitor and control temperature. — Our Staff Reporter
