COIMBATORE, AUG 27 . The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is announcing a new scheme Plan 140 for its post-paid Cellone subscribers. According to a release from the Principal General Manager, BSNL, Coimbatore, the monthly rental would be Rs 140 and the pulse rate for outgoing calls would be charged at 60 seconds. For calls made from cell to cell, landline and WLL (local call) the charge would be Rs 1.50 per minute. Cell to cell STD would be charged at Rs 1.80 per minute, while STD calls from cell to landline and WLL would be charged at Rs 1.50 per minute (for calls up to 50 km) and Rs 1.80 per minute (for calls from 51 to 200 km) and for calls made beyond 200 km it would be Rs 3.60 per minute. The charges for roaming SMS and other value-added services and security deposit would be as per plan 222. Incoming calls are totally free. The existing customers under other post-paid tariff plans and excel prepaid plans could also migrate to the new plan 140.
