Indian campaign comes to an end

CHENNAI, AUG. 27. Indian team's campaign in the ongoing world junior men's squash championship in Islamabad ended at the quarterfinal stage on Thursday when it went down to former champion England 2-1.

India, which had finished fifth on the last occasion in Chennai two years ago, will now fight for a place in the 5 to 8 group.

The results: India lost to England 1-2 (Saurav Ghosal bt Chris Simpson 9-2, 9-3, 9-4; Sandeep Jangra lost to Joel Hinds 2-9, 0-9, 5-9; Vikas Jhangra lost to James Wright 3-9, 4-9, 0-9.
