Hewitt has it easy

COMMACK, AUG. 27. Lleyton Hewitt cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Michael Llodra to advance to the quarterfinals of the TD Waterhouse Cup tennis tournament.

At New Haven (Pilot Pen, quarterfinals): Elena Bovina bt Mashona Washington 6-3, 6-2; Lisa Raymond bt Daniela Hantuchova 6-4, 6-3; Elena Dementieva bt Jelena Jankovic 6-1, 6-4; Nathalie Dechy bt Jennifer Capriati 6-4, 7-5.
