Cinemas to remain closed today

THRISSUR, AUG 27. Cinema theatres in the district, except the Government-owned ones, will remain closed on Saturday following a rift between the Thrissur District Cine Exhibitors' Association and the Kerala Film Distributors' Association.

According to the Exhibitors' Association, the closure is in protest against the restrictions imposed by the Distributors' Association on Ollur Davis Theatre, Kalathodu Drisya Movies, Anappara Ookkans, Kanimangalam Merimatha, Annamanada VMT and Kuttanellur Krishna Theatre.
