Package tours from October 1

CHENNAI, AUG. 27. India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) will launch Tamil Nadu and Kerala package tours on October 1.

The tours, with seven nights and eight days, will be operated on alternate Fridays from Chennai. While the Tamil Nadu package includes Kanyakumari, Madurai, Kodaikanal, Rameswaram, Tiruchi and Thanjavur, the Kerala tour covers destinations such as Guruvayur, Thiruvananthapuram, Alleppey and Kochi.

The fare for the Tamil Nadu package tour will be Rs. 3,550/- a person and for Kerala Rs. 3,900/- a person. It includes train journey, accommodation and local sight seeing.
