Bid to show Opposition in poor light: BJP chief
By Our Staff Reporter
NELLORE,
AUG. 27.
The Bharateeya Janata Party (BJP) president, M. Venkaiah Naidu, has reiterated the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)'s disapproval of the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh's attitude to its leaders, when they went to submit a memorandum to him suggesting amendment to the Finance Bill, on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Mr. Naidu narrated the events of the day and said there should not be a confrontationist attitude.
He condemned the alleged attempts to portray the Opposition in poor light and recalled that there had already been a discussion on the budget for three days each in both Houses of Parliament.
