KANCHEEPURAM, AUG. 28. Two persons were killed in two different road accidents in Kancheepuram district, yesterday. According to police, Annamalai (27) of Kovilur, Cheyyar Tahluk in Tiruvannamalai district, was fatally knocked down by a vehicle near a bus stop at Maraimalai Nagar at around 11 p.m. Annamalai, driver of a container-lorry, was on his way home after his vehicle broke down near Maraimalai Nagar. In another accident, a weaver was killed after a mini-bus ran over him. The mishap occurred around 4 p.m. yesterday on Mamallapuram-Tirukazhukundram Road when Ellappan (40) of Sirukundram, was returning home from work.
