Helping `know' the Army

HYDERABAD, AUG.28. `Know your Army', an exhibition being organised under the aegis of Headquarters, Andhra Sub Area will be on at Secunderabad Parade Ground from September 29.

The three-day exhibition will provide an opportunity for people to witness the professional, adventurous and ceremonial activities of the Army besides its role in all the wars fought since Independence, said Command AOC Centre Brigadier, A. K. Jyoti.

He addressed a meeting with the representatives of various divisions and organisations who would participate in the exhibition. The organisations that would take part in the exhibition are MCEME, AOC Centre, 1 EME Centre, Arty Centre, Bison Division, Station Workshop, CWE, BRO, NCC Directorate, DRDO etc.

Brigadier Jyoti said that the exhibition would help motivate the youth to join Armed Forces and also enhance the image of the Army and develop cordial relations between the defence personnel and the civilians.
