This Day That Age
L. Hutton, England's Test captain, denied in London on August 28 a report from Sydney that he was contemplating making a new home in Australia. Hutton said: "Similar reports about my future have cropped up before from Australia, mostly before the start of a Test series. You can take it from me that when the English team will be in Australia for about five or six weeks there will be rumours that almost the whole team has decided to settle out there. I certainly have no plans for shifting my home," Hutton declared.
