BJP condemns Majlis protest

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, AUG. 29. The BJP today said the protest by Majlis supporters in front of the Police Commissioner's Office should be an "eye-opener" to the State Government and demanded that the alleged vandalism of Majlis and DJS should be tackled sternly.

In a statement, the BJP State President, N. Indrasena Reddy, said the Congress Government should own responsibility for the `storming' of the Commissioner's office and alleged that the Congress had entered into a secret agreement with the Majlis before the elections.
