Timings of Kaveri Express changed

MYSORE, AUG. 30. The timings of Kaveri Express between Mysore and Chennai have been changed with effect from September 2.

According to an official press release, the 6221/6222 Mysore-Chennai-Mysore train will leave Mysore at 8 p.m. and reach Chennai Central at 7.20 a.m. the next day. The train will depart from Chennai Central at 9.30 p.m. and arrive in Mysore at 8.25 a.m. According to the abstract of timings provided by the Railways, the Kaveri Express will leave Mysore at 8 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 11 p.m. It will depart from Bangalore at 11.45 p.m. and reach Chennai Central at 7.20 a.m.

The train will depart from Chennai Central at 9.30 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 5 a.m. It will leave Bangalore at 5.30 p.m. and reach Mysore at 8.25 a.m.

Extended

The express train between Tuticorin and Bangalore will be extended to Mysore with effect from September 2.

The 6731/6732 Tuticorin-Bangalore city-Tuticorin Express will stop at Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Pandavapura, and Srirangapatna before reaching Mysore. The train, which leaves Tuticorin at 3.40 p.m., will arrive in Bangalore at 6.35 a.m. It will leave Bangalore at 7 a.m. and arrive in Mysore at 10 a.m.

The train will leave Mysore at 6 p.m. and reach Tuticorin at 12.45 p.m. the next day.

Change

The Railways has also changed the day of departure of the Sharavathi Express between Mysore and Mumbai.

The 1036/1035 Mysore-Mumbai Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminus-Mysore Sharavathi Express will leave Mysore on Thursdays instead of Saturdays with effect from September 16. The train will run between Mysore-Dadar-Mysore instead of Mysore-Mumbai CST-Mysore.
