Natco Pharma's new addition

HYDERABAD: Natco Pharma announced the latest addition to its basket of oncology drugs, Cantret. According to a release issued here on Monday, Cantret (Altretamine 50 mg) capsules are being made available in India for the first time and are used for treatment of recurrent/persistent ovarian cancer-a life threatening cancer that affects women generally in the age group of 50-55 years. The medicine is priced at Rs. 39,000 for 10 strips of 10 capsules each, against the imported medicine's price of Rs. 1 lakh per 100 capsules, it said.
