ANANTAPUR, Aug. 30. Four persons were killed and 15 others were injured in two road accidents in the district in the wee hours of Monday. All the injured were admitted to the Government hospitals at Anantapur and Dharmavaram. In the first mishap, an APSRTC bus, on way to Bangalore, collided with an oncoming lorry near Seetarampalli in Chennekothapalli mandal on the NH-7 in which Ghouse, a one-and-a-half-year-old boy, and Krishna Reddy, lorry driver, died on the spot. The bus driver, Zilan, succumbed to injuries at the general hospital here. The conductor of the bus, D. Khasim, suffered multiple fractures on both of his legs. Eight others also suffered injuries. In the second mishap on the outskirts of Anantapur, Vannurappa (45), an employee with Anantapur Municipality, was killed when the auto in which he was travelling hit a roadside tank bund, as the autorickshaw driver lost control.
