Easy for St. Philomena's FGC

MYSORE, AUG. 30. St. Philomena's FGC registered a 90-run win over Vidhyavardhaka Law College and entered the pre-quarterfinals in the Mysore City inter-collegiate cricket tournament at the Gangotri grounds here on Monday.

The scores: St. Philomena's FGC 195 for nine in 30 overs (J. Yeshwanth 51, H.R. Cheluvaraj 29, Maroon Medappa 34) bt Vidhyavardhaka Law College 105 for nine in 30 overs (Mahesh 25, H.R. Cheluvaraj three for 13).

Sharada Vilas PU College 231 for nine in 29 overs (inclusive of 10 penalty runs) (K.P. Madan Kumar 60, M. Manjesh 25) bt DBCC 168 in 21 overs (inclusive of 40 penalty runs) (Deepak 32, Sinchan three for 23).
