BIJAPUR, AUG. 31. A three-year-old girl was reported missing in the Managuli Police Station limits in Basavanabagewadi taluk on Monday. The police have given the name of the girl as Amruta, daughter of Prabhakar Rao, a resident of Bangalore. She reportedly disappeared from their car. The police said Prabhakar Rao and his family were returning to Bangalore after visiting Bijapur. They had dinner at a roadside dhaba at Managuli Cross. Subsequently, they wanted to have a nap in their car as it had become late. Amruta was in the car when they went to sleep. However, she was missing when they got up. The police a search had been launched.
