THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG 31. Air India has reintroduced the senior citizen fares from India to the United States (U.S.), the United Kingdom (U.K.) and Europe, according to an official press release. These fares are valid for sale with immediate effect for travel from September 15, 2004 to March 3, 2005.

All citizens above 60 are eligible to avail themselves of the special fares, which are available for the airline's direct destinations such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Newark, London, Paris, Frankfurt and various interior points in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe.

Another press release said Air India had operated four additional flights to Dubai in view of the rush owing to the reopening of schools in the United Arab Emirates and the festival season in Kerala.

The flights scheduled for September 5 and 7 were also fully booked, the release added.
