SBT's literary awards

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 31. The State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has invited entries for the Malayalam Sahithya Awards which it gives for collections of short stories and poems and children's literature every year.

The first editions of books in these categories published between January 1 and December 31, 2003 will be considered. Authors, publishers and literary organisations can send three copies of the books so as to reach the Chief Manager, Official Languages Department, State Bank of Travancore, Head Office, Thiruvananthapuram - 12 by September 30. The award consists of a citation and Rs. 15,000 in cash in each category.
