COIMBATORE: The following awards were presented at the annual general meeting of the Tea Trade Association of Coimbatore held here recently.
Largest seller of tea (Corporate) in Coimbatore auctions during 2003-04: Tamil Nadu Tea Plantation Corporation Ltd. (Coonoor), largest leaf tea buyer: Girnar Exports (Coimbatore), largest dust tea buyer: A. V. Thomas and Co. Ltd. (Coimbatore), "largest seller of tea in the Bought Leaf Sector": Sree Lakshmi Tea Industry (Kotagiri), largest tea broker: J. Thomas and Co. Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore, and largest tea warehouser: Saraf Enterprises (India) Private Limited, Coimbatore.
