Consumer index up 5 points

SHIMLA, AUG. 31. The all India consumer price index number for industrial workers moved up by five points during July to 517, the Labour Bureau said here today. The increase has been attributed mainly to the rise in prices of wheat, rice, gur and spurt in housing index. The index had risen by four points during the same month in 2003.
