Kanoria Chemicals' expansion
NEW DELHI: Kanoria Chemicals and Industries plans to invest Rs. 180 crores for setting up a 25 MW power plant and a chemical unit. The thermal power plant would be set up with an outlay of Rs. 87 crores and the chloralkali plant at a cost of Rs. 93 crores, R. V. Kanoria, Chairman and Managing Director told a press conference. The company has contracted Thermax for setting up the power plant while Uhde India would execute the chemical manufacturing project, Mr. Kanoria said. Our Special Correspondent
