Pushkin case fingerprints sent for matching

By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI, AUG. 31. The police have sent the fingerprints of Rajesh, the prime accused in the Anand Lok double murder case, for matching with those lifted from Pushkin Chandra's outhouse and his vehicle, which was found abandoned at Daryaganj in Central Delhi a week after the incident. Rajesh was also taken to some places for verification of his disclosures. It is learnt that the police recovered only one fingerprint from Pushkin's house, while several were lifted from his Opel Corsa in which the accused had fled after murdering Pushkin and his friend, Kuldeep. The duo had then parked the vehicle near Pataudi House at Daryaganj and fled to their respective houses at Old Rajender Nagar. Meanwhile, efforts are on to trace Moti, the other main accused. He is feared to have fled to Nepal.
