THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 31. The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, would leave for Delhi on Thursday to hold discussions with the High Command on the list of Congress Ministers to be included in his Cabinet. Addressing presspersons here today after the first meeting of his Cabinet, Mr. Chandy said the portfolio allocation would be made only after the Cabinet expansion, which he proposed to complete within a week. When asked whether his Ministers would be new faces, Mr. Chandy said he would have given a clear reply to the question if he were the sole decision-maker. He would weigh several aspects while selecting the Congress members in his Cabinet and would seek the opinion of MLAs and other senior leaders before taking a decision.
