KRL rides on Vipinlal's century

KOCHI, AUG. 31. Vipinlal hit an unbeaten century (119) as Kochi Refineries Limited (KRL) thrashed Tripunithura CC `A' by 10 wickets and entered the final of the 16th KTR Varma cricket tournament on Tuesday.

The scores: Tripunithura CC `A' 149 & 152 in 42.1 overs (Aneez 51, Prasanth four for 46, Jayaraj four for 34) lost to Kochi Refineries Limited 292 for six in 65 overs (Vipinlal 119 n.o., Arun Alex 46, Sebastian six for 84) & 10 for no loss in 1.4 overs.
