Anaka clinches title

BANGALORE, AUG. 31. Giant-killer Anaka of Tamil Nadu clinched the girls' under-13 title in the Karnataka Open squash championship at the KBA courts here recently.

The results (all finals): Men: Ritesh Sharma (Jindal) bt Sandesh Chowta (Kar) 4-9, 2-9, 10-8, 9-2, 9-5.

Boys' under-17: Lakshman (Jindal) bt Girish (TN) 10-9, 9-4, 9-1.

Under-15: Cyril Kuhn (TN) bt Naveen Jangra (Jindal) 9-7, 9-5, 9-7.

Under-13: Satwik Joshi (TN) bt Yaksh Dawar (TN) 9-2, 9-0, 9-2.

Girls' under-13: Anaka (TN) bt Rinki Soni (Jindal) 10-8, 9-2, 9-0.

Open: Anvesha Reddy (TN) bt Harita Omprakash (TN) 9-1, 9-3, 9-1.
