Nihal, Sanjay hit centuries

BANGALORE, AUG. 31. A patient unbeaten 106 by opener Nihal Unni and a blistering 156 (165b, 26x4, 1x6) by Sanjay Kumar helped President's XI post 323 for three in 104 overs against Tumkur on the first day of the three-day KSCA under-15 inter-zonal semifinal cricket match at the Infosys ground here on Tuesday.

In the other match at KT Palace grounds, Mangalore was 29 for one at close after dismissing Dharwad for 206 in 75.4 overs.

The scores: Dharwad 206 in 75.4 overs (Pavan Deshpande 102, Mahesh Shanbagh 52, N.G. Vrijesh five for 44) v Mangalore 29 for one in 21 overs.

President's XI 323 for three in 104 overs (Nihal Unni 106 batting, Sanjay Kumar 156, Abrar Kazi 27 batting) v Tumkur.
