Woman arrested

ALUVA, AUG. 31. The Emigration authorities at the Cochin International Airport today arrested Aiysha (39), hailing from Thuruthu in Kochi, for attempting to leave for Dhamam, Saudi Arabia, with a fake emigration certificate. She was about to board an Air-India flight this afternoon when the authorities detected the fraud.

Aiysha was handed over to the police for further investigation, official sources said. — UNI
