Missing woman found murdered

BANGALORE, AUG. 31. The body of Shaktiyamma (19) who was reported missing from her house in Kumaraswamy Layout police station limits on Saturday was found in the Puttenahalli Tank in J.P. Nagar on Tuesday.

The police said Shaktiyamma was murdered and her body dumped in the tank. Her mother, Kasturiyamma (40), was found murdered at a graveyard near her house in Kanakanagar on Sunday morning.

As Shaktiyamma was reported missing, the police suspected that she murdered her mother. The police suspect that two men, who had reportedly visited Kasturiyamma's house on Saturday, murdered her and her daughter. The two women, who were from Gulbarga district, were working as construction labourers here.
