Power shutdown

BANGALORE, AUG. 31. There will be no power supply in some parts of the city on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as a transformer centre has to be shifted and an overhead line changed to an underground system.

The following areas will be affected: Bilekahalli, Arekere, Hulimavu, Kodichikkanahally, Devarachikkanahally, Golden Gate Apartment, N.S. Palya, Begur, Ranka Apartment, Mantri Apartment, HSBC, B.G. Road, and surrounding areas, says a BESCOM press release.

To lodge power supply-related complaints free of cost, consumers may call 1600338017 or 12660, the release adds.
