This Day That Age
People's China has assured the Viet-Minh President, Dr. Ho Chi-Minh, that it will give "active support" to the Viet Namese people "in their struggle for peace and unity in Indo-China." Mr. Mao Tse-tung, Chairman of the People's Chinese Government, and Mr. Chou En-lai, the Prime Minister, gave this assurance in a message to mark the ninth anniversary of the Viet-Minh National Day, Peking Radio said.
